Meals for Day 5
Breakfast – Oatmeal
Lunch – I had my leftovers from Outback. The kids had sandwiches on our leftover whole wheat rolls, crackers, yogurt, apples, and carrot sticks.

Weekends are the toughest time for me to menu plan. Since we live in the greater D.C. area, we try to do some sightseeing each weekend and meals usually end up being snacks or leftovers.

The key to making a great pie crust is temperature. You need to start with cold flour, cold water, and then bake at a high temperature.

1 cup butter flavored shortening
